Customer Review: Not last long enough

We bought our first Juiceman II machine 5 years ago, and it was quite expensive at that time. The motor broke just over 2 years (2 months after the warranty).We bought the second one and the same story happened again after 2.5 years. Call Customer Support and they suggested me to buy a new one.
I asked if they have motor for sale and answer is no. They told me I can ship the broken one back and get a new one in half price ($99), plus shipping (for new and broken one) - but the price at Amazon is cheaper than that.
It happened to my friend also and he bought a juicelady later. Juiceman and Juicelady are all Salton products.
I don't have confidence on the Salton products anymore.
