Customer Review: A Bit Big, But Otherwise Good

I had no idea buying a toaster would be so difficult. Reading reviews here, it seems as if a lot of toasters really don't work well. I wasn't terribly happy with my old one, so I didn't want to make the same mistake.
My main complaint about this product is it's rather large, but perhaps that's to keep the exterior reasonably cool, which it does do. As to making toast, it is reasonably fast. I no longer have to start the toast before I put the eggs in the pan. And the toast is uniform in color and appearance. My only caution would be I don't know if it would make toast dark enough for people who like their toast very dark, if they use high quality bread (e.g. not wimpy white bread). Other than that, it's good.
Finally, do run it through a few cycles prior to making toast. It has some sort of oil coating on the elements which needs to burn off. That is normal and mentioned in the materials.
